Student Workshop

Workshop Overview

This 2-hour, hands-on workshop is designed to spark curiosity and confidence in students as they explore how to think and build with artificial intelligence. Aimed at Australian high school students in Years 7–12, the session blends foundational knowledge with real-world applications, giving learners the tools and mindset to use AI safely and creatively.

Students will investigate what AI is, how it works, and how it’s already shaping their digital lives. Through practical and hands-on activities, students will learn how to co-create with AI to work on a interest-based digital project — no coding experience required. Along the way, they’ll critically examine issues like bias, data privacy, safety, and academic integrity, while also discovering how AI can help them learn, create, and shape their own future.

This workshop is more than an introduction — it’s an invitation to imagine how AI can support personal growth, lifelong learning, and meaningful contribution in a changing world.
